Our private tropical Bed & Breakfast is only 2 miles from the magnificent Hawaii Islands Pacific Ocean and conveniently located near exquisite shopping, department stores, restaurants and places of interest to make your Hawaii vacation complete. Take a private Big Island tour, or trek 20 miles to the Kalapana lava flow, a magnificent spectacle found only on the Big Island of Hawaii.( Don't worry it's very safe to watch and to walk there.)

Our private bed & breakfast is a place to relax, refresh and rejuvenate. Enjoy breakfast in our Ohia Gazebo, a secluded breakfast house, and choose from our gourmet menu with Seven seasonal choices of local and International favorites.

Cool off in our spacious outdoor swimming pool, equipped with basketball, volleyball and underwater artificial marine life.

Lounge on our Octagon Pool Deck as you listen to the calls of native exotic birds, or spend the evening under the stars having dinner and drinks by the torch light. A "must" for any island vacation with the sound of your favorite moonlight music.

Enjoy a private Big Island tour or take the self-guided Tropical Garden Tour on our two-acre site and discover the native flowers and enjoy in-season fruit fresh from the trees.

Awaken your taste buds with our cook-to-order breakfast, served in your room, the covered lanai, or our outdoor breakfast house, Ohia Gazebo.

Feel like your home, as the suite is equipped with: compact refrigerator, water dispenser, microwave oven, wine glasses, dishes, table setting, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, vanity table, cocktail table and chairs, dining table and chairs, alarm clock, ceiling fans, beach towels and more.

Your hosts Jim and Amy Lee have been in the service and hospitality industry for a combined three-decades, and will treat you like long-time friends, while still respecting your privacy. They will give you insights only locals can know, and provide transportation sources to all the wonderful activities that Hilo and the Big Island has to offer...just like having your own personal concierge.

The Big Island has it all! We'd advice you to plan out your vacation, because there are so many world renowned place of interests to visit, eg. it takes one week to see all of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park a ideal place for hikers, explorers and particularily photographers. It would be a dream come true for specular stunning photographes taken at nightfall..

I have never been to Hawaii before but heard a lot about how tourist and commercialized most of the other island were except for the Big Island. I have just retired and wanted a place to relaxed and enjoy the beautiful greenery, rain forest feeling and the friendly people that I have heard about the Big Island. So I did my search and discovered Hawaiian Paradise Park is the second largest sub-division United States. I then email Jim (the owner) and after speaking with him over the phone, I decided to book his place for 7 days. During my stay he was extremely helpful and was willing to tour me around the island, kind a like a personal tour guide! Even though I had my own rent a car which I didn't use often while staying there. Jim made it very convenience for me see the island. Jim and Amy's place was the perfect place I was looking for, quiet, clean, all the amenities of home with a very homely atmosphere with excellent service and privacy. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN FOR MORE EXTENDED STAY IN THE FUTURE AND TELL MY FRIENDS IF THEY NEED A PLACE TO STAY ON THE BIG ISLAND.
